Groundworks has high-powered laptops with specialized software for creative digital design. Software can be used for converting analog pictures, negatives and photo slides to digital files, and video editing, music mixing, graphic design, architecture, web design, 3D modeling, and more.
All laptops have the following software:
Laptop 1 and Laptop 2 have Fusion 360.
Laptop 3 and Laptop 4 have the following Adobe Creative Cloud applications: After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, Premiere Pro.
Laptop 5 and Laptop 6 have Clip Studio Paint Pro.
Patrons are encouraged to schedule a 1-1 appointment to learn how to use the software, if needed.
Computer use is free, and a valid library card is required to sign in. You will need a USB or external hard drive to save your work, an email account to send it to, or upload to a cloud storage account. (i.e., Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, etc.)
Patrons are encouraged to schedule a 1-1 appointment to learn how to use the equipment and/or software before making an equipment reservation.
