The embroidery machine is free to use if you bring your own materials. Groundworks does not supply fabric but we do provide bobbin thread and a limited supply of embroidery thread and stabilizer. Contact Groundworks or stop by for current prices. Fabric and other materials can be purchased from local stores (Pressing Matters Quilt Shoppe and Fields Fabrics), most big box stores, and online craft stores like Spoonflower, JOANN Fabrics, Michaels and many more.

You may create your own embroidery files using almost any embroidery software (Groundworks’ laptops have Inkscape with the Ink/Stitch add-on) and must be saved in .PES file format. There are also many online shops that sell embroidery files, some even offer free designs.

Contact Groundworks with your questions if you are unsure which material to purchase for your project or don’t know if the material you need is compatible with the Baby Lock Bloom Embroidery Machine.
