Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance

This interfaith panel discussion will focus on how various faith and secular groups pursue equity and justice for all within their lives. Panelists will share how the multiple aspects of their identities, and the different intersectionalities of those identities, help inform their equity work. Panelists will also share areas of strengths and areas of growth in relation to equity work that they see within their faith and secular traditions. Presented by the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance in collaboration with Grand Valley State University, this event will be moderated by Kyle Kooyers, program manager at the Kaufman Interfaith Institute. This panel is not intended to be a “what ____ believes about justice.” The goal is to elevate the fact that there are people of various religious, spiritual, and secular traditions doing incredible work to promote equity along the Lakeshore out of their respective identities.
