Big things are happening at Herrick District Library! After years of brainstorming and planning, we're excited to launch a brand new initiative for the community, Groundworks. This space in the lower level will introduce adults to various topics including graphic design, starting a podcast, becoming familiar with coding, and the next steps to starting a new company. Groundworks will be offering 13 free courses each month, lasting 90 minutes each. The space offers computers equipped with all the necessary software and will be open to the public during Groundworks' Open Hours and through one-on-one appointments with staff.

We invite you to come explore Groundworks, learn about the different courses being offered, meet the staff, and ask any questions you may have. There will be an informal presentation at 6 pm with snacks and beverages to follow - come stop by when you can!
