GROUNDWORKS COURSES
Big things are happening at Herrick Library! After years of brainstorming and planning, we decided to launch a brand new initiative for the community, Groundworks. This space in the main library’s lower level will introduce adults to various topics including graphic design, starting a podcast, becoming familiar with coding, and next steps to starting a new business. Groundworks will offer 13 free courses each month, lasting 90 minutes each. The space offers computers equipped with all the necessary software and will be open to the public for scheduled open lab hours and through one-on-one appointments with staff.
For all courses: Computers and software provided. Must have a valid Herrick District Library card to participate. Registration required at herrickdl.org/events; available one month before each session. Choose from one of multiple identical course times offered for each topic. All sessions are for ages 16 - adult.
