Big things are happening at Herrick Library! After years of brainstorming and planning, we decided to launch a brand new initiative for the community, Groundworks. This space in the main library’s lower level will introduce adults to various topics including graphic design, starting a podcast, becoming familiar with coding, and next steps to starting a new business. Groundworks will offer 13 free courses each month, lasting 90 minutes each. The space offers computers equipped with all the necessary software and will be open to the public for scheduled open lab hours and through one-on-one appointments with staff.
