Evening with an Author: Laurie Halse Anderson - virtual Online

Laurie Halse Anderson is a New York Times-bestselling author known for tackling tough subjects with humor and sensitivity. Join us for an intimate evening with her as we discuss her work, past and present, and an opportunity to ask your questions. 

Laurie has been honored for her battles for intellectual freedom by the National Coalitions Against Censorship and the National Council of Teachers of English. She is also a member of RAINN's National Leadership Council and frequently speaks out about supporting survivors of sexual violence. Her books Speak and Chains were National Book Award finalsts.

Registration is reauired starting June 1 at herrickdl.org/events. Participants will be emailed a link to the Zoom meeting. The virtual event will be recorded and available as part of The Raven podcast available at herrickdl.org/books_magazines.
