Repairing is Caring: Sew for the Planet | Community Knowledge - Virtual Online
Don’t throw that away—try to fix it first! In this program, we will explore the effects of the fast fashion industry on the environment. Following the presentation, develop your basic hand sewing skills with help from a local seamstress who will demonstrate how to make basic repairs and how to assemble your own inexpensive mending kit.
